I am a 30-year old woman who has always loved classic rock and the sound of acoustic guitar. My New Year's resolution this year was to learn to play the acoustic guitar. I found "Lessons that Rock" online, and started private lessons by mid-January. After only two months of lessons I was able to read guitar tabs, play a few chords, and play two classic rock songs! After four months, I was able to play five songs! Now, I am able to play several of my all-time favorite songs and am having fun playing the guitar, even though my audience is still just my husband and my dog.
