The StudentThatRocks for January 2009 is..... Kai!

Kai has been taking LessonsThatRock since August of 2008 and has shown dedication shared by very few of his age. Recently, Kai performed live in front of an audience of over 100 people with a bassist in his school's talent show. Kai sang and played "Welcome To Paradise" by Green Day.

Kai also plays guitar and sings backup vocals in a cover band formed of kids his own age, and have performed a gig at It's A Grind in Lakewood, CA.
