The StudentThatRocks for February is..... Daniel!

Why He Rocks...
Daniel, a native of Long Beach, has been taking LessonsThatRock since March of 2008. Daniel is left-handed and has learned how to play guitar right handedly. As a guitarist, I can relate, since I myself am left-handed. Being left-handed is a bit of a disadvantage at first since everything feels backwards, upside down and just plain awkward. This translates to left-handed players having to be more persistant and dedicated to their art than their peers in the first few months just to see the same results. On top of this challenge, Daniel balances a full-time job, and is enrolled in Long Beach State. In spite of this heavy work and school load, I can't recall a lesson where Daniel hasn't made progress, showing that even the busiest of people can still find time to rock.
For his hard work this month, we hooked Daniel up with a fresh set of Daddario strings, and a bag of picks. Thanks Daniel for doing such an awesome job, and keep up the hard work!
