I currently own the TU-2 Chromatic Tuner from Boss, and I've seen ads for the new TU-3 Tuner. The ads say the new LED display cuts through the harshness of daylight, which is great because I typically play outdoor gigs in the middle of the day. I know, it's strange for a musician, but still, everyone does it at one point or another.
Anyways, with the TU2 Tuner, you pretty much can't see a thing unless you take your hand or your body and shade the pedal somehow, and I wanted to find out what the TU-3 looked like in the daylight. I mean, is it such a significant difference that I should run out and get one, or is it even worth the $100+ price tag.
Here's an article that talks more about it, but it doesn't mention that it's easier to see in the daylight as one of it's features. Does anyone own this? Can you testify to it's digital display improvements?
